I am mad, no I am really pissed off...

Yes, I am really mad, no in fact I am really pissed off. How can people tell other people how they are bad parents because they don't 'dote' on their children? Yes, I don't 'dote' on my children as I believe they are capable to make their own mistakes and learning from them.

I am really proud of my two boys as they are. Yes, they are bloody lazy but they take after their father. However, they are really polite and friendly children. When they are given a gift they always say thank you (even if they don't like it or they already had it).

All weekend I heard how I should be doing this or that for myself and my family. We are very happy in our house at the moment so please kept your opinions to yourself.

weight loss journey

Yesterday I went to the gym and had a weigh-in. OMG!!!!!! I am the heaviest I ever been, even when I was 9 months pregnant. Therefore I need to lose 30kgs. A hard task, however I will try and lose this within the next 12 months (would love to lose it by Christmas but I am not on the biggest loser.

I think I will try and eat better (salads, steamed vegies etc) as well as weighing my food. I have a good vegetable garden now and will be growing my alot of my own food (lettuce, tomatoes, beans, peas etc.).

How did I let myself get this big? I admit, I don't look in the mirror because I really hate what I see but I caught a glint of me in the mirror at the physio the other day and realise that I am really roly poly. That is what made me go to get weigh.

Hopefully next week-end when I get weighed in I would have lose at least 500 gms.

WHY?

I am amazed how some people think they are more righteous than us mere mortals. I admit, I read a lot of blogs and I have my favourites. Beth's blog (http://www.baby-mac.com/) is one of the best and funny blogs I read. However, one of the people who made a comment that was quite derogatory remake (if that is the right word) and worst still they did not even have the audacity to put their name to it. It makes me think about how their are so many people who make remarks and don't admit that it was them. I know they are the losers in this world.
