Beautiful Saturday

Good morning Saturday,

What a beautiful day. After several days of rain (which was very much needed), today is a beautiful sunny (but windy) day. The sky is such a fantastic blue. It will be a great day for washing.

Today I have cleaned the top dishwasher (I have a two drawer dishwasher) just by pulling the it a part and give it a wipe down and then when I finished putting it put and put bi-carb soda and vinegar and have put on to a fast wash. I find this helps with the cleaning process. I try and clean both my dishwashers once a month as I find they get very greasy and yucky.

My DH thought he would be helpful and buy a 'washing' gadget for the dishwasher which was suppose to clean the dishwasher however I believe that it has made it worse. Also, I don't think it is very eco-friendly. I don't mind cleaning the dishwasher as it only takes about 10 minutes.

Also today, I think I will go and buy some gardening beds, you know the ones that are made from tank materials. I have four vegetable patches but I think the wooden sides may be the type with arsenic and I don't want to take the risk (plus I have been saving to buy those beds).

Tired, sore but keep soldiering on...

Hi everyone,

I been to the doctor's today as I was in extreme pain in my lower back and right hip. Of course I googled my symptoms and discovered that maybe I had kidney stones. Thought I should go to the doctors'. Went to the doctor's only to be told that I just twisted something in my lower back and need to rest for at least 24 hours, $68.00 dollars thank you.

Well, I thought I would quickly grab some groceries before going home. Of course, unpack the shopping, put dinner on, put a load of washing on, pick up a few things then went for a lie down. No luck, the kids across the road were outside playing with a football. Not that I mind, they are better than my kids who just sit on the computer all day as they don't like the outdoors.

DH phoned and asked to pick him up as he was not feeling too well. As heading out the door, thinking this is resting my back. I realise this is being a mum (and wife). Got home, put the 'sick' husband to bed with some drugs and got on getting dinner ready. I think I might sleep in tomorrow (good luck to me) even though I was suppose to go to the craft fair :(. Life in General

I am thinking about how I as parent really spoil my children. My children have been very spoilt over the lives. I really wish that I didn't spoil them and make them work for things. I am really feeling the pain now as my children expect to be given everything. They are very lazy. Is it too late to stop giving them everything they want. I think life for them is too easy. They complain if they don't get want them want.

I have made the decision that I can not keep helping them by giving them money for what they want. I think they will have to learn pretty quick and I need to be strong.

Beautiful Day

What a beautiful today, pity I was inside all day. At least I have a window seat and could look out of the window at the beautiful blue sky. I am hoping that the week-end will just as beautiful so that I may be able to go for a nice bush walk or finish planting the tree.
